Senior Operations Analyst – Medical Billing

About the Role

Join our team to support and enhance revenue cycle operations by ensuring accurate billing workflows, timely claims follow-up, and efficient insurance verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper filing procedures and ensure records are accurately organized
• Update and manage billing logs with correct information and detailed notes
• Record and input data received from accessioning into appropriate platforms
• Verify patient insurance coverage via online portals and phone calls; enter verified information into required systems
• Follow up on all denied claims and claims with no payer response
• Uphold professional appearance, positive work attitude and strong team morale

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma required; advanced education preferred
• 3-4 years of medical billing or revenue cycle experience required
• Strong desktop & computer skills with experience in:
  • Databases: data entry, reporting, record management
  • Navigation: switching between applications & systems efficiently
  • Internet & email communication tools
  • Spreadsheets: data entry, formulas, tables, reports & charts
  • Word processing: typing, formatting, editing & managing documents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate professionally and work independently
